Last night was interesting; We have been trying to get the kids to bed by 7:30 and it can be really hard. Come seven o’clock we were still out and about and Jude was melting down without anything in his tummy. We ambled into Central Market to try and find something in the posher than posh deli they offer. We were all so hungry and everything looked good. The image that lingers is that of four tired family members shuffling like zombies to make our selections and then amble on home to eat. It is memorable for the quality of being both a high point of the day and a low point. In the same way that food tastes better when you are starving, or beer is extra good on a hot day and you are particularly parched.
