The weather has left us without many tasks this week. Our drywall guy is in the house so there is little for us to do in there. The soil has turned to the consistency of cream cheese which negated the possibility of laying the patio or placing the retaining walls, so we have turned to paint. It doesn’t seem like it should be that big of a deal, but man! We are finding this task ridiculously time consuming! We thought we had it figured out with this combination:
But when we put it on the wall we had to squint or wear sunglasses to look directly at it. We don’t want to be ‘that’ house that is so bright it becomes a landmark in the neighborhood. So that sent us into a frenzy of paint sample purchasing and slapping the colors on the house in an attempt to find the just right color. Here are the combinations so far:
We are still dissatisfied and combing through neighborhoods to find the perfect combination of greens and light trim. So onward we march…
